Hongik Ingan or also “to live and work for the benefit of all mankind” is the original founding philosophy of Korea, which transcends the boundaries of ideology and religion. As a result, this made invaluable contributions to Korean society, which remained as long lasting in the lives and the thoughts of what is Korea today.
Written from Korea, this blog aims to document what truly means Hongik Ingan and to introduce the real Korean spirit and culture to the global community with a realistic approach. Unfortunately, there are many facts of Korean history which are still untold or had been distorted in order to make up the truth. Our aims to explain those facts as they really are.
